I laugh every time I hear this song. I debated with myself for quite some time about letting it see the light of day. I want to make it clear that in no way is this song meant to cause any kind of hostility towards women. I wrote it when I was young and angry, about someone specific, and found humor in it afterwards. When I showed it to the rest of the band they all liked it, but when I thought of someone listening to it and having it justify some kind of resentment towards women I wanted it buried. I debated it for a while and came to the conclusion that since I don't specify a gender, it is possible that both men and women, gay or straight, could relate to it. And that I didn't want to censor myself, even if it is a younger, naive version of that self. At least I think, or maybe I'm just trying to justify it.
